Disappointment and Lessons

Well, I had a lot of pots that would have been great but broke in the kiln. Oh, well... I will try to get some more done before critique on the 6th but I am slowly running out of time. (and I really wish this nasty cold would go away soon!) I am off to the studio to get some necessary work completed. Guess I should not count on what I have and should always keep working for that "just in case" moment. Good luck to the rest of you for a great crit session on Tuesday.

  1. Hi Pam!
I've never been big on the wheel, even after working with Jeanine. But I really do like most of the pieces that you have made thus far. The long vase form with the dark glaze is most definitely not only my favorite glaze, but favorite form. Also, the "freckled" pieces are beautiful, that glaze is amazing and I would really like to know what cone/glaze you used to make such an effect. I'm sorry about the pieces you lost through whoever fucked them up, I definitely know the feeling. you are a great ceramicist and don't let that throw you off.
